DAILY FORKLIFT INSPECTION CHECKLIST
Why it is very important to do pre operational check up of forklift?
A visual “circle check” or pre-operational inspection of equipment prior to every use will reduce the chance of equipment being operated in an unsafe condition.
This makes it easier to spot and deal with maintenance issues early before they turn into a problem causing downtime, equipment damage or expensive repairs.

Electric Forklifts Pre-operation Checklist
Pre-operation check on your order electric forklifts includes:
VISUAL INSPECTIONS
1. No visible oil leaks
2, No tire damage,cracks or wear
3. No loose or missing tyre nuts
4. No damage or cracks in lamps
5. No damage or cracks on mirror
6. Hydraulic fluid is at the appropriate level
7. Brake fluid is at the appropriate level
8. Battery Water is at the appropriate level
9. No damage, bends, looseness or chain tension
OPERATIONAL INSPECTIONS
1. Material handling system works properly and there are no oil leaks
2. Brake pedal is effective
3. Parking brake operates properly
4. Gauges operate properly
5. Battery indicater lamp works properly
6. Steering wheel is not loose
7. Horn and Back up Horn Function properly
8. No damage battery cable and battery plug
CHARGER INSPECTIONS
1. On-forklift charger works properly
2. Off-forklift charger works properly

Order Picker Reach Truck Checklist
Pre-operation check on your order picker/reach truck includes:
VISUAL INSPECTIONS
1. No visible oil leaks
2. No wheels damage, cracks or wear
3. No damage or cracks all lamps
4. No damage or missing rear view mirror
5. Hydaulic oil level is normal
6. Safety Belt and Lanyard no sign of fraying or broken fibre
7. Battery water Level Check
OPERATIONAL INSPECTIONS
1. No oil leaks from the material handling system
2. Brake and Deadman pedal is effective
3. All gauges operate properly
4. Battery indicater lamp is functioning
5. Horn and Back Up Horn Function properly
6. Fork Safety Interlock & Gripper Jaws function properly
7. No damage battery cable or battery plug
CHARGER INSPECTIONS
1. On-forklift charger works properly
2. Off-forklift charger works properly
